The whole process exceeded our expectation – We built with Avondale recently and couldn't recommend them highly enough. The Sales Manager, Nat was honest up front and guided us on getting all the information on our land so she could provide us a quote that didn't have any hidden surprises after we signed. The quote process was extremely quick, from talking with Nat to designing our home to then having our tender sent and contract signed, it was all done within 4 weeks. When they submitted our house in for BA after paying our deposit, it was a shock to the system that it was all happening so quickly! The design team was awesome, Dan designed our home exactly how we wanted and provided suggestions we didn't even think about. It's hard to imagine your home as a floorplan, so his 3d images gave us peace of mind (he also put in our furniture that we have to make sure it fits!). The office team were such lovely people to deal with. It's a family run business but the quality and speed of the whole process has been exceptional. The best service. The experts in acreage homes! – While in the early phase of my building journey with Avondale Homes, their service has been next level. James and Sam have been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and the owner Darryl is always happy to answer any questions I've had. First Home Buyer – Avondale have been so easy to deal with before we even signed the contract. We had the contract within 48 hours of confirming we would build with them, communication has been outstanding & nothing has been too much trouble! The process has been so easy and relaxed!! Just under 2 years since we moved into our amazing home. During the build we experienced a massive amount of rain that came over months causing issues with the build schedule. Avondale were great and worked with us to get the build done. Were their other issues during the build? Sure. Were they resolved? 100% of the time. In building a new house for the first time I've come to understand it must be a stressful industry as you're trying to arrange so many moving pieces, yet Avondale made us feel comfortable and you could tell they knew what they were doing. Before hand over we hired Darbecca (building inspection company) and they said the quality of the build was one of the best they've seen. They were impressed with the little touches that most builders wouldn't do. Were their defects to fix? Sure, a list of defects which Avondale fixed before hand over. Even 2 years on and their was an issue found recently with the aircon and they arranged someone to come out and fix. Now it's running great. Would I build with Avondale again? Most Definitely. There are so many scary stories out there about builders and I can tell you based on my own experience these guys are one of the good ones.

Deciding to build initially was nerve racking but exciting at the same time. From the very first visit to Avondale Homes then throughout our whole process, how could we not be happy, site cut was 10 January and were in our home in mid July. Communication is the key, any issue, overthought etc etc they were always there to guide us without hesitation. Do yourself a favour and go out personally and check the workmanship out, I mean really look. You will realise unlike ‘others’ they do care about what they do. Very disappointed with this company. Countless emails and calls and our house is still not complete almost a year after handover. They didnt give us our keys for 3 weeks to make finiah thw house off and nothing had been done in thoae 3 weeks. House is beautiful but incomplete. Have heard alot of stories from others using this company that they also did not bother to finish the house fully. Very unprofessional.
Edit: I made the top review under old management/staff and whilst it was accurate at the time, I have since experienced excellent service from the new staff of Avondale since around september 2022. Thankyou so much for all your help and rectifying our previous experience.
